Dark intense red. Explosion of aromas, sweet Christmas cake spices, dark cherries, and hints of prunes. Full bodied and flavoured wine, with the same fruit promised in the aroma coming through on the palate, having a long pleasant finish. Merlot 85% completed with Malbec 15%, aged in French (70%) and American (30%) oak barrels. This wine is an example of why Merlot develops fantastic flavours, and is so soft almost voluptuous on the palate making it a wine which is capable of accompanying a meal, or just to be enjoyed by itself.
